Club Rules and Regulations


Regulations

Below is a brief summary of club rules taken from the club constitution (full version available to all members)

  • Single point hook artificial fly only.
     
  • All trout must be returned to the water alive an unharmed.  Every instance where this is not possible must be reported as soon as possible to the executive on a Creel Census Form.  Any member who breaks this rule will be automatically suspended.
     
  • A Creel Census Form will be completed and handed in for every fishing trip.
     
  • Respect rights and interests of land owners.
     
  • Enter property at point determined by the land owners.
     
  • Climb fences only at styles.
     
  • Avoid disturbing crops and livestock.
     
  • Volunteer assistance for stream improvement.
     
  • Respect and protect the stream and stream side environment and wildlife.
     
  • Eject trespassers and vandals and / or report them to the authorities.
     
  • Be courteous and congenial at all times on the stream.
     
  • Report any problems concerning livestock to the land owner, or stream to club executive.
     
  • Report to the Association executive any members suspected of breaking any of the outlined rules.
     
  • Out of province guests accompanied by member are welcome at all times except opening day.
     
  • Ontario residents are similarly welcome but for no more than three (3) days in a year
